I came equipped for my tech run with the lighting cues I wanted and the sound cues. It was during this time spent with the technician that I discovered a few of the lighting states I wanted had changed. The atmosphere I was creating was a train station so for that I used natural lighting with a green tint but I wanted to reflect on the centre of attention being the actor and the idea of being in the spotlight. I focused the light to be a large spotlight just on myself. It was to create the little bubble of insight in a busy and noisy place where you get to hear the thoughts of the actor. During this time I also realised that the songs at the beginning and end needed different lighting, for which we used purple in order to represent the inner thoughts of this character/actor waiting in the train station.
