I began to realise that my performance was going to be structured around audio, in particulary train announcements. So for this I used to software Audacity and created three station announcement and edited three other tracks.
In order to create the station announcements I had to chop up audio and piece it together to form the sentences I wanted which would suit my show. I blended the tracks together and overlayed the announcement chime at the start of the tracks. Having visited Sheffield station many times I was familiar with how the tracks should sound and wanted to recreate them in the most authentic way possible.
TRACK ONE: Station Announcement (Played when audience are seated)
TRACK TWO: Backing track for Just Arrived (First Song)
TRACK THREE: Railway Station (10 minutes, constantly running in the background of dialogue)
TRACK FOUR: Delayed Announcement (Played twice during the performance)
TRACK FIVE: Backing track for Thank You For The Music (Last Song)
TRACK SIX: Cancelled Announcement (Played at end of show)
